Mr. Sunai graduated Bachelor’s Degree from Assumption University, Bangkok in major of General Management in October 1997 and graduated in Master of Science in anti-aging and regenerative medicine from Dhurakit Bundit University, Bangkok. He started to learn wellness business in Suuko Spa Executive as a General Manager (2004 – 2006) Took care of 260 staffs in total and held the responsibilities of planning, developing, and setting up the 10,000 Square Meters of day spa operations. After that he stepped forward as an operation Manager of (South East Asia) of MSpa International Limited (2006 – 2008), he took care of the operations and management of 13 Spas in Thailand, 3 Spas in Maldives, 1 Spa in Vietnam and 1 Spa in India.

After collected experiences in wellness and hospitality business, Mr. Sunai had changed his role to freelance Spa Consultant for Akaryn Management and ESENSw, Mr. Sunai took care of operations strategies, spa rebranding, spa retail development, and human resources development for 2 spas in Phuket and Pranburi. Two years later he operated his own business “Spanovator”. The wellness business consultant that he has been exerted his talent and ability on it. And Mr. Sunai is appointed as Vice President of Spa Professional Association (Thailand) and Vice President of Thai Spa Association as well.

With over two decades of experience in the tourism industry, began a career in marketing roles at various hotels in Thailand before being appointed as Sales Manager at Chiva-Som International Health Resort Co., Ltd. in 2001. Currently serves as an Advisor to Mr. Krip Rojanastien, Chairman and CEO of Chiva-Som International Health Resort Co., Ltd., while also holding positions as a Committee Member for Hospitality and Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Wellness Business at the Thai Chamber of Commerce.

With over 23 years of experience in the spa and wellness industry, Premjit currently serves as the Regional Director of Spa & Wellness for Minor Hotels, where she oversees wellness strategy and development across a diverse portfolio of luxury hotel brands including Anantara, Avani, and NH Collection. 

Premjit’s passion lies in creating wellness concepts that harmoniously integrate holistic traditions with modern innovation. She has led the development and implementation of signature wellness programs and strategic brand partnerships- including collaborations with world-renowned institutions such as Clinique La Prairie and VIVID by Verita. She also oversees the creation and execution of Minor Hotels’ in-house wellness brands: Layan Life by Anantara, Anantara Wellness, and AvaniWell- each designed to deliver personalized, integrative wellness journeys tailored to the unique identity of each brand. 

Beyond strategic development, she is actively involved in building and nurturing high-performing spa and wellness teams, curating treatment offerings, and sourcing wellness equipment and products that align with global brand standards and local licensing regulations. Her work bridges creative vision with operational excellence, ensuring compliance, consistency, and impactful guest experiences. 

Premjit areas of expertise includes wellness strategy, brand development, medical wellness integration, guest journey design, and team leadership. Andrew Gan is the past-President and life-time honorary member of the SCSS (Society of Cosmetic Scientists, Singapore). He holds an MBA with distinction from Aalto University and a BA with Honours at the National University of Singapore. For over a decade, he has taught innovation, packaging, product design & development as adjunct lecturer. He draws on his inter-disciplinary background and experience of over three decades in the personal care, cosmetic and medical device industry. Professionally, he co-creates functional cosmetics and medical devices with a team of over seventy R&I scientists and experts in regulatory affairs and quality assurance across three countries.

Andrew Gan

Mr Andrew Gan is Past President of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists Singapore, holds an executive MBA with distinction from Aalto University and a B.A. with Honours from the National University of Singapore. For over a decade until the present, he holds an adjunct lecturing position at the Singapore Polytechnic.

Apart from his voluntary roles as President of the CTFAS and Board Member of the ASEAN Cosmetic Association, Andrew is Managing Director of Toshiki International Singapore – a Japanese CDMO which designs, develops and manufactures Medical Devices. His expertise and areas of interests include design thinking, new product development, innovation strategies, personal care products, medical devices, manufacturing and sustainability issues for the Industry.

Dr. Preecha-korn Suvanaphen

Dr Preecha-korn received his Master Degree in Management and a PhD in Polymer Engineering from Bradford University in the United Kingdom. He started his career with Unilever in the UK and followed a career path with Unilever for 25 years on international assignments to the Philippines, Ghana, China, Turkey and Bangladesh. He has been involved in Supply Chain, Project Management and Innovations before returning to Thailand in 2004 to take up the position as Regulatory Affairs Counsellor, Unilever Asia PTE.

Since returning to Thailand, Dr Suvanaphen has worked with ASEAN Regulators to set up a Harmonised Cosmetic Regulations for 10 ASEAN Countries. He has served as Secretary of the ASEAN Cosmetic Committee and a President of the ASEAN Cosmetics Association.

In addition, Dr Suvanaphen was a member of Thai FDA Cosmetic Committee, and a Vice Chairman of Thai FDA Liaison Committee. He was also a part-time lecturer on International Business Management at Mahidol University. He is currently an Honorary Adviser of Thai Cosmetic Manufacturers Association, and the Adviser to the Chemical Group and Cosmetics Group of the Federation of Thai Industries.

Jocelyn S. Babaan

Jocelyn has current strategic leadership role over the country’s business lines in Consumer and Retail (CRS), Minerals, and GIS in SGS Philippines.

Jocelyn’s mission includes strategic management of the assigned business lines with major focus in achieving healthy and sustainable financial performance, aligned with corporate commitments on operational excellence and operational integrity, and achieving or sustaining market leadership.

She had taken various strategic leadership roles for about 34 years in SGS in several industries namely agriculture, mining, fertilizer, consumer goods and retail, food, electronics and electrical, apparel, and hardgoods, industrial among others between 1997 to date. Her extensive strategic and business management roles in SGS and in various industries exposed her in major competencies of the company, i.e. testing, inspection, verification, certification, audit, and training between 1996 to date.

During her over 25-year career in the analytical laboratory business within SGS, she has developed analytical laboratory expertise, aligned with ISO 17025 requirements and had been instrumental in pioneering the laboratory testing business in the country. Jocelyn was involved in the operation and strategic management of a multi-disciplinary laboratory that serviced several business sectors – food, agriculture, minerals and coal, environment, and consumer products.

 

Juanita Aditiawan

Juanita Aditiawan is the President of ASEAN Cosmetics Association and Vice President in charge of External Affairs and Business Development of Indonesian Cosmetics Association (PERKOSMI). She is active in cosmetics business in Indonesia ranging from own brands, contract manufacturing as well as distribution of cosmetics ingredients. She has developed large international as well as national network in the industry during her 20 years of experience.

The Intercosmetic was founded through a joint-venture and technology partnership with a world renowned Italian and Swiss cosmetic group. We were the first and only cosmetic OEM in South-East Asia and China serving Italian and Swiss cosmetic innovation, products, OEM and B2B services to brands and private label owners. 

In Malaysia, we have established an R&D center with a modern cosmetic manufacturing facility developing and producing halal-certified cosmetic products for our customers.

Many certifications such as AMI Masterclass “A New Solution to Better Skin Quality”, Ultherapy S.P.T Treatment Provider, Botulinum Toxin Antibody by Mahidol University, World Congress of Aesthetic Surgery-Medicine, Anti-Aging and Alternative Medicine (WCAM) and Leadership skills in weight management with the science of eating and nutrition by Chulalongkorn University. She’s also a member of Dermatological Society of Thailand, Thai Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and surgery and IMCAS Academy.

 

 

Yang Hu

Yang is responsible for enriching regional cross-industry insights on Asia Health and Beauty, working with local analysts and providing high quality market insights to key clients.

She joined Euromonitor International in 2022,and has seven years’ experiences in strategic planning and venture development in the beauty and retail industries.

Her research areas include the Asian beauty market, K-beauty, C-beauty, dermocosmetics, clean beauty, digitalisation and personalisation. Prior to joining Euromonitor, Yang worked at Beiersdor Korea and GS Shop.

Thant Zaw Ko

Mr. Thant Zaw Ko was the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at Shangrila-Leap International.

SLIC manufactures skincare, toiletries, and household items. All of these items are manufactured under license by Cosmecreate Items Inc., Osaka, Japan. He has been a visiting lecturer at Yangon University’s IC Department for over a decade, in addition to his volunteer responsibilities as Vice President of the Myanmar Cosmetics Association and President of the Myanmar Barcode Association (GS1 Myanmar). His talents and interests include marketing, new product development, innovation strategies, personal care and skin care products, manufacturing, and industry sustainability.

Christine Reyers

Christine Michelle Pangilinan-Reyes is a Licensed Pharmacist. She is the Technical Regulatory Manager of the Innovation and Science Department of Amway Philippines, L.L.C.

For 18 years, she has gained vast experience and expertise in the areas of Community Pharmacy, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory Pharmacy particularly for Pharmaceuticals, Health Supplements, Cosmetics (Beauty and Personal Care), Durable Products, Home Care Products and Fertilizers.

She currently holds the position as President of the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines and previously led CCIP External Committees such as the Regulatory, Government and Industry Affairs and Professional Development and Education. Christine is also a member of the ASEAN Cosmetics Association Board. She is the Health and Dietary Supplement Association of the Philippines’ Representative to the ASEAN Alliance of Health Supplement Association. Her professional trainings include programs taken locally and internationally. Dr. Sittha Sukkasi

Dr. Sittha Sukkasi is a designer and developer with a deep passion for sustainability. He is committed to enhancing the quality of life by developing innovative and sustainable
design solutions that are both insightful and creative.

Dr. Sukkasi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Brown University and a Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. At MIT, he engaged in research on design methodologies, acquired training in product development, and contributed to the teaching of a product engineering course. Currently, he holds the position of senior researcher at MTEC, a national research center in Thailand.

Dr. Sukkasi has spearheaded and contributed to numerous design and development projects. Prominent examples include an innovative device for treating contaminated drinking water in impoverished regions, upcycled furniture crafted from waste materials, a multifunctional bed designed to promote active aging, fall-prevention devices for hospitalized patients, sensory blankets tailored for individuals with dementia, a concentration-training game, toys that facilitate multigenerational family bonding, toys specifically designed for children with special needs, and home-monitoring technologies that prioritize human well-being. Furthermore, he has developed methodologies for commons-oriented design, environment-community-human-oriented design, and attentive empathetic design. Additionally, he finds fulfillment in multimedia design, encompassing graphics, websites, brand identities, and travel videos.

Dr. Sukkasi is actively involved in research and development that explores the intersection of design and sustainability. Current topics include designing and developing sustainable products, exploring commercial applications of climate-positive and environmentally friendly materials, conducting strategic research on essential skills for organizational sustainability transformation, and analyzing future scenarios for environmental and social sustainability.

Dr. Sukkasi’s research has been published in academic peer-reviewed journals, presented at international design conferences and trade exhibitions, and recognized by organizations such as Grand Challenges Canada and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council
