Dr. Preecha Suvanaphen, Ph. D.

MODERATOR

Dr. Preecha-korn holds a Master’s degree in Management and a Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering from Bradford University in the United Kingdom.

He began his professional career with Unilever in the UK and, over the past 25 years, has lived and worked in the UK, Philippines, Ghana, China, Turkey, and Bangladesh. His experience spans supply chain management, project management, and innovation.

In 2010, he took on the role of Regulatory Affairs Counsellor for Unilever Asia PTE Ltd., where he led the coordination of the ASEAN harmonization initiative. He also served as President of the ASEAN Cosmetics Association (ACA) during 2017–2018.

Currently, Dr. Preecha-korn serves on the Board of Trustees of the ACA and acts as an Honorary Adviser to both the Thai Cosmetic Manufacturers Association and the Chemical Industry Club of the Federation of Thai Industries.

Wei Xiuqing

A member of the top management of Karmarts Public Company Limited, Ms. Kat Wei from Singapore comes with years of experience spanning across IT, Strategic Planning and General Management fields in various industries including land development, healthcare and most of all, beauty. Ms. Wei is also well versed in legal aspects of businesses with her educational background in business law, and is a valuable member of the company, supporting domestic and international expansions and negotiations. When it comes to GEN Z & Millennials, Kat not only works alongside these generations of young people from various countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, China and Taiwan, but also constantly seeks to engage consumers of such age groups through social media. She quoted that the support of her young, fun and adventurous multinational teams are her pillars to lean on when it comes to social media marketing, but Kat has certainly garnered her personal perspectives regarding how business could or should target the GEN Z & Millennials in Beauty Innovation via new social platforms. With that, Kat shall be sharing her personal points of view in this time’s event.

She has previously been associated with firms like The Boston Consulting Group and KPMG in similar roles, She holds degrees from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and IMT Ghaziabad.

Natthakarn joined LINE Thailand in 2021 bringing vast experience in e-commerce and retail management from her previous posts in leading corporations such as Lazada, Siam Makro, and Gaysorn Property to lead the Merchant Management unit of LINE SHOPPING. With 18-year experience in e-commerce, CRM, and Data Mining, Natthakarn has helped establishing LINE SHOPPING as a go-to Chat Commerce solutions for social sellers by planning sales & marketing strategy that contributes to new acquisition through prospecting, educating and recruiting of new merchants and helping them to launch and grow their business sustainably on LINE.

Ms. Juanita Aditiawan PERKOSMI

Juanita Aditiawan is the President of ASEAN Cosmetics Association and Vice President in charge of External Affairs and Business Development of Indonesian Cosmetics Association (PERKOSMI). She is active in cosmetics business in Indonesia ranging from own brands, contract manufacturing as well as distribution of cosmetics ingredients. She has developed large international as well as national network in the industry during her 20 years of experience.

My lifetime experience and expertise covers a span of more than 30 years in the cosmetic industry through joint-ventures, both in Malaysia and China. Leading these companies in the research, innovation and manufacturing of personal care, toiletries, makeup and skincare cosmetics to serve our most valued brand customers, is a continuous source of learning, achievement and satisfaction.

The Intercosmetic was founded through a joint-venture and technology partnership with a world renowned Italian and Swiss cosmetic group. We were the first and only cosmetic OEM in South-East Asia and China serving Italian and Swiss cosmetic innovation, products, OEM and B2B services to brands and private label owners.

In Malaysia, we have established an R&D center with a modern cosmetic manufacturing facility developing and producing halal-certified cosmetic products for our customers.

Andrew Gan

Mr Andrew Gan is Past President of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists Singapore, holds an executive MBA with distinction from Aalto University and a B.A. with Honours from the National University of Singapore. For over a decade until the present, he holds an adjunct lecturing position at the Singapore Polytechnic. Apart from his voluntary roles as President of the CTFAS and Board Member of the ASEAN Cosmetic Association, Andrew is Managing Director of Toshiki International Singapore – a Japanese CDMO which designs, develops and manufactures Medical Devices. His expertise and areas of interests include design thinking, new product development, innovation strategies, personal care products, medical devices, manufacturing and sustainability issues for the Industry.

Ms. Christine Reyes

Christine Michelle Pangilinan-Reyes is a Licensed Pharmacist. She is the Technical Regulatory Manager of the Innovation and Science Department of Amway Philippines, L.L.C.

For 18 years, she has gained vast experience and expertise in the areas of Community Pharmacy, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory Pharmacy particularly for Pharmaceuticals, Health Supplements, Cosmetics (Beauty and Personal Care), Durable Products, Home Care Products and Fertilizers.

She currently holds the position as President of the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines and previously led CCIP External Committees such as the Regulatory, Government and Industry Affairs and Professional Development and Education. Christine is also a member of the ASEAN Cosmetics Association Board. She is the Health and Dietary Supplement Association of the Philippines’ Representative to the ASEAN Alliance of Health Supplement Association. Her professional trainings include programs taken locally and internationally. Passionate about work and profession, she ensures that products passed all local regulatory and quality requirements prior release to market.
